The Program Administrator (ombudsman)

The Ironworkers Workers’ Compensation Trustees have appointed union representative Gene Vick as the Program Administrator. Once he is notified, Gene will make an initial contact with each injured employee. Additionally, he will be available to answer your questions and help resolve any problems you have related to your claim by calling him toll free at 1-888-615-4766.

The Program Administrator’s job does not include giving advice or telling you what to do. What the Program Administrator can do is listen to your concerns and try to get them fixed to your satisfaction. However if this cannot be done you are free to move on to the next step which is mediation.
